The PH850-PW from Apera Instruments is a handy and easy-to-use meter for the determination of pH, ORP (electrode sold separately e.g. 301Pt-C) and temperature. It is specifically designed for fast, easy and accurate pH measurement of low ion concentration solutions such as pure, distilled or deionized water. The included LabSen® 803 pH electrode features a unique L-type glass membrane and a movable sleeve that allows the infiltration rate of the electrolyte to be adjusted. It has an integrated temperature sensor, which enables automatic temperature compensation (ATC). The PH850-PW is protected by a silicone cover and is waterproof and dustproof (IP57), making it particularly well suited for field use, even in harsh environments.
- Equipped with the LabSen® 803 pH/temp. electrode for pure water or distilled/deionized water
- Silicone case provides safe & firm grip and protects from shocks
- Waterproof and dustproof (IP57) for use in harsh environments
- Fold-out stand for convenient indoor operation
- Quick and easy 1- to 3-point calibration
- Large, illuminated LCD simultaneously displays conductivity value and temperature, as well as additional measurement and calibration information
- Self-diagnosis supports calibration or troubleshooting
The meter is RoHS and EC certified and has a 3 year warranty (6 months on the electrode).
The LabSen® 803 from Apera Instruments is a pH electrode with integrated temperature sensor and is manufactured using proprietary Swiss sensor technology and materials. It is specially designed for pH measurement of pure water like drinking water, distilled water, etc.
LabSen L-type glass membrane – The electrode features a special cylindrical glass membrane that is up to 10 times more robust than conventional products and is particularly suitable for solutions with low ion concentration due to its very low resistance (<50MΩ). It provides fully stabilized readings after only 30 to 60 seconds.
Movable sleeve - The easy-to-clean diaphragm sleeve allows the infiltration rate of the electrolyte to be adjusted and thus adapted to the ion concentration of the sample.
Silver Ion Trap Reference System- The LabSen 801 pH electrode uses a silver ion trap reference system that is added to the long life reference system to prevent the compound from being blocked by silver sulfide.
Patented pH/temperature combination structure - The temperature element is placed in an independent cavity under the pH glass membrane. With the built-in thermally conductive medium, the temperature measurement can be 40% faster, which significantly improves the reaction time and stability of the pH electrode.
