The DO504 polishing paper is used to clean the gold cathode of the DO500 polarographic electrode from Apera Instruments.
• For cleaning the contaminated gold cathode of the DO500 electrode
• Contents: 6 sheets of polishing paper
• Compatible with the DO500 electrode (SX716, SX725, SX736, SX751 meters)
Application:
1. Unscrew the membrane cap.
2. Gently rub the gold cathode with the polishing paper along the curve of the gold surface.
3. Wipe the gold surface with a clean cloth, rinse the electrode with distilled water, and shake off the excess.
4. Fill the membrane cap with fresh DO502 electrolyte solution and screw it back on.
5. Perform saturation calibration.
Tip: If the electrode displays a reading of more than 0.15 ppm in an oxygen-free solution after 5 minutes, replace the DO503 membrane cap or polish the cathode.
