The PH850-BR from Apera Instruments is a handy and easy-to-use meter for the determination of pH, ORP (electrode sold separately e.g. 301Pt-C) and temperature. It is particularly suitable for measuring beer, wine, kombucha, juice, etc., making it ideal for beverage production. The LabSen® 213 pH electrode included in the scope of delivery ensures fast, precise and reproducible measurements and functions at temperatures of up to 100°C. The electrode has an integrated temperature sensor, which enables automatic temperature compensation (ATC). The PH850-BR is protected by a silicone cover and is waterproof and dustproof (IP57), making it particularly well suited for field use, even in harsh environments.

The LabSen® 213 combined pH electrode from Apera Instruments is a pH electrode with integrated temperature sensor ideal for regular, precise measurements in aqueous solutions for scientific investigations or quality control. This electrode is compatible with TRIS buffer solutions.
LabSen S-Type Hemispherical Glass Diaphragm – Thanks to the low-resistance and rugged glass diaphragm, the electrode delivers fully stabilized readings in 15 to 30 seconds, yet is up to 10 times more rugged than conventional products, significantly reducing the likelihood of the electrode breaking during impacts.
Long-life reference system – The LabSen 213 pH electrode uses a long-life reference system consisting of a glass tube, AgCl and a reference silver wire. The top of the thin glass tube is filled with cotton, which prevents a reaction between AgCl and electrolyte when the temperature changes. It improves the stability of the reference electrode and extends the life of the electrode.
Patented pH/temperature combination structure – The temperature element is placed in an independent cavity under the pH glass membrane. With the built-in thermally conductive medium, the temperature measurement can be 40% faster, which significantly improves the reaction time and stability of the pH electrode.
