LabSen® 871 pH electrode for non-aqueous solutions and organic solvents

The Apera LabSen 871 pH electrode with glass body is manufactured with proprietary sensor technology and high-quality materials from Switzerland and is suitable for pH measurement of water-miscible organic solvents (e.g. methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, DMSO, acetonitrile) and non-water-miscible organic solvents (e.g. hexane, chloroform, toluene, etc.)

• Built with LabSen’s most robust PHY glass membrane, which effectively protects the hydrated gel layer of the membrane from damage by organic solvents and maintains sensitivity to the hydrogen ion reaction
• Double liquid junction structure – the outer junction has a movable sleeve with 1 M LiCl electrolyte for better solubility in organic solvents, resulting in more stable readings
• The specially formulated blue gel inner electrolyte prevents the formation of air bubbles in the sensor. Just so you don’t have to worry about the readings jumping out of nowhere. extends the service life of the electrode
