The PH8500-SA from Apera Instruments is a handy and easy-to-use meter for the determination of pH, ORP (electrode available separately e.g. 301Pt-C) and temperature. It is ideal for carrying out precise and reliable measurements of solutions with a strongly alkaline/alkaline character (up to 14 pH). The LabSen® 843 pH/temp. electrode included in the scope of delivery is equipped with a special HA glass membrane, which ensures that the alkali error is minimized when measuring high pH values. The electrode can be used at temperatures up to 130°C (266°F) and is therefore also suitable for high-temperature solutions. The PH8500-SA is protected by a silicone cover and is waterproof and dustproof (IP57), making it particularly well suited for field use, even in harsh environments. Furthermore, the meter has a memory function and GLP data management with storage space for up to 500 memory groups. It can be connected to a PC or laptop via USB to either read out the memory groups or perform real-time storage.

Electrode

The LabSen® 843 pH electrode from Apera Instruments is manufactured using proprietary Swiss sensor technology and materials. It was specially developed for measuring strongly basic solutions (10-14 pH) and has an integrated temperature sensor, which enables automatic temperature compensation for pH measurements.

This electrode has the following features:

- Proprietary pH sensor technology and materials from Switzerland
